With Great Himalayan treks Kashmir, I'm all praises!

Javeed organized a fantastic private weekend trek for me to Gangabal Lake, taking care of everything from pickup to equipment. All I had to do was land in Srinagar! Unlike other trekking companies where one is latched on to a drab and overpriced 'package', JAVEED curated an unexpectedly personalized hike for me, latching me on to sharaz and his family, herders who actually lived in the mountains.

I was able to have meals with them in their meadow hut, camp in their backyard, and play with their ponies and sheep, without having to share the unique experience with other trekkers.

I was also impressed by how proactive Javeed was, trying to stay in touch and check in on me whenever possible. Will definitely recommend, and looking forward to trekking with him again.

We are total 8 people from south India , we came across GREAT HIMALAYAN TREKS KASHMIR and contacted Mr Javeed regarding KGL trek and booked . This trek is the most beautiful trek we have ever done in our life the meadows are endless and the mountains are so majestic and the camping site of ours facing Harmukh which is the tallest in the state was so dramatic . The food was so tasty every day we received diff varieties and the guides so friendly . Trek guide Muzammil bhai , Guide Adil, cook Nawaz and horsemen’s . We are a family of 6 including kids.we had a 5 nights experience at Naranag organized by Mr Javed.. very reliable people and well versed with details abt the geography of the place. We camped by the river and caught trout from the crystal clear river and the most amazing time nature could offer. Thank u javed (great Himalayan treks).
